The Borgata of Scottsdale
The Borgata of Scottsdale has been a major shopping destination in Arizona for nearly two decades. This retail village is a favorite for both residents and visitors.
The Borgata of Scottsdale’s ambiance reflects the spectacular atmosphere of northern Italy’s region. Scottsdale’s popular shopping village mirrors what can be found in San Gimignano, Italy, complete with turrets and towers, thick stone walls and bubbling fountains. Visitors are charmed by the blend of specialty shops, patio dining and “Old World” courtyard atmosphere.
The Borgata captures the characteristics of the medieval hillside town of San Gimignano in northern Italy. Built in the 14th century, the town with the beautiful towers, flowering courtyards and stone paved streets connecting the plazas, was named after San Gimignano, bishop of Modena, who died in 387.
The Borgata is reminiscent of the charming old world Italian village of seven centuries ago. Captured behind the stone covered walls, shoppers can discover one of a kind treasures, continental dining, extraordinary fashions, jewelry and art collectibles.
