Prescott Municipal Airport - PRC
The Prescott Municipal Airport (Ernest A. Love Field) is centrally located between the City of Prescott and the towns of Chino Valley & Prescott Valley. The airport is classified as a general aviation airport and is modernizing towards becoming a regional airport designed to meet the future needs of Yavapai County.
The airport is home to nearly 20 aviation-related businesses. These businesses provide services such as flight instruction, aircraft charter and rentals, aircraft maintenance and avionics, aircraft interiors, aviation fuel and oil, and pilot supplies. In addition to aviation-related businesses, the airport is also home to the United States Forest Service fire bombers, a FAA-operated airport traffic control tower, the state’s only FAA Automated Flight Service Station (AFSS), and an FAA-operated Airway Facilities Maintenance office.
The City of Prescott is currently working on a series of construction and modernization projects aimed at maintaining and improving the existing airport facilities and services. Through these projects, the Prescott Airport will continue to be a valuable asset to Prescott and the surrounding communities.
