Gila Bend

Nestled in the bend of the Gila River in southern Maricopa County, Gila Bend is a traveler's "last stop" offering a friendly community, gas stations, hotels and restaurants for the weary traveler heading to points north, south, east and west.

Established in 1858, Gila Bend has remained a small town with a population of around 1,700 people, surrounded by beautiful vistas of the Senoran desert and mountains, agriculture and interesting Native American history.
